Science Fun of the Week

(September 23rd, 2016) Get ready for your weekly dose of science fun. Today: A revolutionary comic from the Upturned Microscope.

The Upturned Microscope is cell biologist Nik Papageorgiou, now working as a science journalist at EPFL: “Strangely enough, I’m mostly known for my comics. They came to be through unemployment and disillusionment, and I’m still surprised by how popular they have become – especially since I can’t really draw, which I hear is an important skill for cartoonists. Nonetheless, I have the privilege to contribute to Chemistry World (Royal Society of Chemistry) and EPFL’s Flash magazine on a regular basis.”
